Finished the little 1/72 scale Schwimmwagon today and was lucky to have good weather for taking pics of it...rarely do I get a model finished and have nice weather in the same day. ;D

Here is some other new airfield equipment things posed next to a Ta 183, notice I repainted part of the pilot figure to correct my mistake I made last week.

Thanks sotoolslinger and Eddie!

I am working on one more ground vehicle (Citroen Traction 11CV) and two more 1/48 scale figures, after those are done I will clear the work bench and build two aircraft hangers.

Part of today was spent getting more practice time on my Iwata HP-B Plus, once I get used to it I should be able paint some cool looking camouflage patterns with it but it will take plenty of practice first. Painting the dagger stroke with the airbrush is not as easy as it looks but I am getting better at it.

SWEET.  You've done a great job with the figure and vehicles.

Thanks guys!

These models are just what I needed to get out of my slump, in 2008 I only finished two models which is an all time low for me.

Rafa and lancer,
Thanks for looking and for the nice comments!

I have some plans to produce some cool looking images later this year and these new ground vehicles and figures will be put to good use at that time. Also planned for this year is a new and improved backdrop, I have most of the material already the only thing I don't have right now is time to paint it but I do have some vacation time to use up so I might be able to get it done then....I expect the new backdrop will take two full days to finish, my last one I did only took one afternoon to complete.

Your skill in modelling Luftwaffe aircraft is matched only by your skill modelling vehicles, Matrixone! It always impresses me to see such talent displayed on such diverse subjects!

Thanks Brian!
Building these models was sure a of fun the only downside to them is it makes me want to start doing armor models now. Yuck! :o I need to stick with building wing thingies. <_<
