Two things go against the 72nd 144 for me - price and space.  I've built a 72nd Valkyrie and building the thing alone is a pain.  Storing it afterwards is even worse.

The Tu-144 is also available in 1:144 scale (from BraZ, not much cheaper than the 72 version though).

I don't think so as we would have heard from russian sources such as Redstar72 if they had done the Tu-144, we know there is a czech company doing a 1/72 Tu-144.

Hehehe, I wish. I saw that Transit at Goodwood last year, and it's a hoot, complete with ladders on the roof!

My Zaf only has a chipped ECU and a rear anti-roll bar with stiffened springs, but the best 'tweak' is it's an LPG powered car, so the BMWs and Audis just dismiss it without a 2nd glance. Until I go round the outside of them on roundabouts that is! 

We'll be getting locked if we keep on about this on a thread about A Model though.......

They already didn't. There was some (unofficial) info about half a year ago, that they plan to release the 144. But nothing more . Maybe sometimes?..

But another Ukrainian company, the ICM announced Tu-144 in 1/144 for this year.

I like the look of that - I'll end up nabbing one I think - but there was another kit of that aircraft - I've a part started one somewhere that was going to end up in Zirkus Rosarius markings.  KG 200 anyway.

It's wings are reasonably long too, but they can always be extended....... 

Su-1PV perhaps? (Perekhvatchik Vysotnyj = High altitude interceptor according to one A Model kit I have)
