Compared with other 1/72nd jet airliners i would say it is reasonable

Which is one reason why I build my airliners in 1/144.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Oh boy... I want this so much it hurts, but at FIFTY-THREE FLAMIN' QUID it hurts too damn much, I'm afraid... :banghead:

Yup it does look stunning but as you say £53

A-Model produce nice kits now but the larger types still tend to be broken down into more parts then comparable producers. It's to do with the size limits of their moulding/casting equipment I'm told. Mind you I haven't bought a "larger" one for ages
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Ooooh yes, a Do 26!

That's the one that had the pusher prop shafts that hinged upwards when it was on the water, very techie.

Wasn't just the prop shafts it was the whole engines! Tilted up by 10 deg.

I friend of mione has been working on the Mach 2 kit - utterly wrong, nothing fits, and a total mess, even though in a similar price range. I hope that the A Model offering is simply a better kit for this big and beautiful aircraft!

I have seen the mess. You REALLY have to be desperate to tackle this thing...  :-\

Don't know that kit in person - but I doubt there's much difference to the Mach 2 "offering"...  :-\
