^ They're the little piece of paper that come with kits. I think it's awfully nice of the manufacturers to provide you with some protection for your workbench. Paint and glue stains are nasty!

Some people say these papers are "serving suggestions", a bit like those on food packaging. I say that's a rather apt description, what with the results of the cooking NEVER looking like the neat pics on the boxes.

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Aren't they the bits of paper you put in the "reference" envelope when entering a build in a show so the judges know what a magnificent whiff it is?

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I think they are more like emergency rations.
As in the old saying  "If at first you do not succeed, read the instructions."

They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

As per the hilarious AvE*: "Using instructions? That's just like cheatin'!" ;D

* If you don't know AvE, look him up on Youtube. Supposedly videos on tool reviews and machining stuff, but funny as frick.
Cheers,
Moritz

Oh SUPERB! What a wonderful little aircraft, I've just GOT to get one of them.

Of course we'll be very close to the real one at Coventry in a few days too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Saw it a few times at some Farnbourgh shows. Neat little plane, always thought it looked like a flying Ferrari or something!

I don't know if this is new but it's almost enough to make me break my self imposed "No More A Model Kits" ban.  zenrat industries needs a heavy lift VTOL capability...

I think they have done several different versions of this too Fred, they also did the one with the flat bed underneath that would carry a coach. If you need a heavy lift chopper but without the Amodel gore,  Zvesda and Revel do the Mi-26, I have the Zvesda one, nice kit too.

It's just a Mi-6 variant (airborne command post, AFAIK)...?  :o Huge beast, though, just like the Mi-26. I've seen the Revell kit in the box at a friend, and it is scaringly large. I guess you could easily fit Hercules wings to it...
