The Academy kit wasn't that bad, just a little basic.  It's a copy of the old Frog one, as was the Avenger and Ventura.

SU 3 and the Yak 200 for me. I'll probably get 1 of the Beriev's to go with some of my 1/144 Anigrand stff - always liked them.

Now that looks interesting!  :o Been waiting for a decent Be-12 for ages.
Modelimex.com (LINK) says 18 EUR. Not too bad!

Gekko did a couple of cool profiles for Egyptian, RAF, Indonesian and Finnish Mails (LINK). Now I just have to decide which one.

My self and Kit saw a sample of the Brabrazon at the Milton Keyens show. Ken Duffy has managed to get his hands on one.   Its HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw an 1/72 A Model Tu-144 kit on Roger Wallsgroves stand at Southern Expo today too (£150.00 or so....) It's built in the same fashion as the Brab, but a tad smaller of course (but not much!) The workmanship on the all-in-one-piece fibreglass fuselage is magnificent, better than many 'glass R/C boat hulls I've seen. I don't know how they do it, but I can't imagine it's just hand-laid, there must be some pressure resin injection process involved. Whatever they do, it's darned impressive!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I'd be more interested in a Tu-144 than a Brabazon I must admit.  Both though, fill me with trepidation as to storage - both unbuilt and built!  How long was the Tu-144.
