^ They're the little piece of paper that come with kits. I think it's awfully nice of the manufacturers to provide you with some protection for your workbench. Paint and glue stains are nasty!

Some people say these papers are "serving suggestions", a bit like those on food packaging. I say that's a rather apt description, what with the results of the cooking NEVER looking like the neat pics on the boxes.

Aren't they the bits of paper you put in the "reference" envelope when entering a build in a show so the judges know what a magnificent whiff it is?

I think they have done several different versions of this too Fred, they also did the one with the flat bed underneath that would carry a coach. If you need a heavy lift chopper but without the Amodel gore,  Zvesda and Revel do the Mi-26, I have the Zvesda one, nice kit too.

It's just a Mi-6 variant (airborne command post, AFAIK)...?  Huge beast, though, just like the Mi-26. I've seen the Revell kit in the box at a friend, and it is scaringly large. I guess you could easily fit Hercules wings to it...

I used part of the MIL-26 for my Heliplane build kitbashed with a C-130 fuselage ,Connie triple tail fins and a pair of TF-33 turbofan engines.
