;D What would have happened if the CA-23 had not died the death it did? Australia probably would have had a far more vibrant aircraft industry now than we do have. I can't help thinking about this and would one day like to scratch build a 1/72 model of it.

Cheers,
Ross.

I have a 1/72 resin kit of it, Uncle Les does it as well as the CA-31.

There was a picture of a diorama with one posted a while back here - anyone still got it?

Apart from Geoff (lucky fuzzy bunny!) does anyone have this kit?

And I can assure you, the word I used to describe Geoff was not "fuzzy bunny" ;D

Sorry for late reply but yes, I have it.  I got it after the main production run so it's in a plain box with no decals.  I have the CA-31 too.

I think I have a fairly good idea what you really said
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

The Wooksta!

I've got one of those too and so does Lazlo Woodbine!

Th word rough is applicable to the kit, but no doubt it is buildable as it's nowhere near as bad as anything I've seen from Unicraft...

Unless one goes scratchbuild though, there isn't a great deal of options for the CA-23 in kit form.

Have you tried Southern Sky models BTW ?

I have, and neither CA 23 or 31 are listed anymore... so the *real* question is not "who has one?", but "who wants to SELL them?" (preferably to me :)! )

Did you contact Roy or just check the website ?, i would suggest emailing him first at Southern Sky models as the Uncle Les stuff was mainly made to order.

I'll do that tomorrow and report back :)

Folks,

Les (aka Uncle Les) has let me know that he is planning on making another run of CA-23s (in 1/72).  They will go for approx $50Aus.  Please PM me if you are interest, along with your postal addresses and emails so that I can pass onto Les.

Please note before purchasing, that these are resin, "cottage Industry" kits, not your usual "Shake and bake" kit.
