Erickson brought the rights for this chopper and got the licensing to be able to build their own .
Their most common is the fire fighting version..I saw one in Spain bout 15yrs ago .
I've seen 2 versions of their 53 with different rear arrangements for the landing gear..one with single wheels like the original and one with two wheels ..I like that one  <_<

Nothing new, but they were at Telford which was good to see   Must admit some of the sprues they had on display looked superb, especially the B-26.

ICM are planning to release a Handley Page Hampden B.Mk.1 in 1/48, during 2025. They also have the Torpedo Bomber TB.Mk.1 version. Same main sprues - different glass, turrets and aerials.

If it's as good as their B-26 looks then that could be very interesting

I'd make a solid bet that the Torpedo Bomber TB.Mk.1 will be just as good 👍

I have an ICM B-26 & the HP Hampden is such a temptation that I can feel my wallet quivering in my pocket in anticipation of the pain.

I have several photos of the Hampden under restoration at RAF Cosford a few years ago. It did have some holes in it after being shot down in Russia, a crash landing, and abandoned for 50 years.
