Some SERIOUS horsepower there!  :thumbsup:  ;D

How long before the accessory  providers come up with a range of different under fuselage cargo pods?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

4800 shaft horsepower according to wikipaedia.  That'd do it.

These ones are already available in scale...

Or there are these, easily scratch-built loads:

Can be used to set up a "flying" diorama

These are also available in scale;

Here's one carrying a zenrat industries bioweapon container ;) ;

Squadron (yes, they're undead) has it on preorder for the low sum of $194.95, with the MSRP around $270

A mere 4,800hp takeoff rating for the T73-P-700(JFTD12A-5A), 4,430hp continuous.

Regarding the Skycrane I had the ? 1/72 kit as a teen, maaaaaany years ago.  The rotor prop was rigged to a string to raise and lower a slung cargo, plus it came with a cargo container.

I didn't know the USMC operated them; thought I made that up.
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

The Marines didn't operate the Skycrane, and if they had it would have been long before digital cammo.  ;)

I did one way back when too, but as a civvie Whiff in the colours of Mogul Oil.

That will mean nothing to most of you apart from those in the UK 'of a certain age', as they were a fictional oil company featured in a BBC TV series called 'The Troubleshooters'. I wrote to the Beeb for some info on Mogul's fictional corporate style and got a letter back on Mogul paper, complete with some decals and all sorts of other good stuff!  ;D

RESULT!

I've still got an un-built on in The Loft as well.

Some of us remember!!  The programme started as  black & white and went colourful half way through............at least I think that was the one.

I built an HS.125 Dominie and, the ultimate biz jet - the corporate Concorde in fictional Mogul markings (of my own design) ;)  ;D Didn't quite get around to a Mogul Harrier though!
