cool, i havent seen the Revell boxing of the Kamov 'black ghost' altho i picked up 3 of the Zvedza issue when they were released, a nice model and something different to sit alongside the now 'what if' Commanche (its a pity Testors/Italeri's 'stingbat' is to 1/48 scale!)

whats the colour scheme Revell shows for the model? would there be any chance of an instruction sheet scan?, it looks nice on the boxart too (i like the way the dazzle panel forms part of the camouflage pattern

cheers, Joe

Joe, there are two colour schemes for the Revell Ka-58, I'll scan them later today.  First one is an all over black machine, marked up as a company demonstrator.  Second is the scheme shown on the box, light grey overall with a mid grey standard russian camo pattern on the uppersides & lighter on the tail, as you mention, the anti-dazzle panel is incoprated into the camo.

Here's a pic of the model from the Revell site:

It's very similar to this Ka-52 demonstrator with darker colours.  The anti dazzle panel as shown on the Revel kit has been seen on real world Ka-50's & 52's.

Thats a nice camo :)

As promised for Joe, Revell paint schemes for their boxing of the Zvezda Ka-58.  The camo version is slightly different to how I described it from memory, there is a seperate underside colour.  The other version is an all over dark grey, rather than the black I mentioned.

Colours are:
A: 69 Granite Grey
B: 78 Tank Grey
C: 99 Aluminium
D: 36 Carmin Red
E: 5 White
F: 9 Anthracite Grey
G: 360 Green 50% + 5 White 50%
H: 91 Steel 75% + 9 Anthracite Grey 25%
I:  49 Light Blue 75% + 5 White 25%
J: 74 Gunship Grey
K: 57 Grey 90% + 5White 10%

You're welcome Joe!  I guess you could use that same pattern & substitute pretty much any colours, as well as the markings between the two schemes shown.  The colours would fit the markings from the Zvezda boxing too.

Zvezda is going to release a 1/72 Mi-35M! CLICKY!

Way cool. I'd never have guessed someone would make a kit of this particular version. I believe only Venezuela flies them so far and the Brazilians signed up for a couple.  Fantastic whif-potential!

Nice one!  Always thought it was more likely that version would be covered by a resin upgrade.  Found the english language version: http://www.zvezda.org.ru/?lng=eng&nav=10&nov=3&set=7276

Here's the 'Coming Soon' page, some interesting items there, including, a T-90 & Pe-8 'Stalins plane'.

For me, one of the most intersting is 'Dogs Fighting Against Tanks', (1/35 I think).  Didn't know about the use of dogs against tanks until I read this, intersting stuff.

Zvezda is doing a 7-late-7!!!!

And they call it a Boeing on the box art too!

Presumably that's their two fingered salute to the licencing issue, nice one!

Didn't know they were doing an A320 too. http://www.zvezda.org.ru/?nav=1&p=3&set=7003
Looks kind of basic compared to Revell's kit.

^ The A320 is a rebox of the 1/125 Heller kit, despite the scale being given as 1/144. Compare the sprues HERE.

The kit has the Boeing Officially Licensed Product logo on the box and the trademark symbol next to Dreamliner on the instructions.

No surprise that it is a licensed product, especially as Boeing's Design Center in Moscow has done a lot of work
on the project.
