I wonder if that's a re-pop of the Revell kit?

Or was it from Zvezda in the first place?

Also in 1/144 an Il-76, Fairey Battle, Hs-126B and Po-2.  Someones got to pose the Po-2 next to the Il-76!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Oh for a new-tool VC-10...what a pairing they would make .

PR19_Kit

I'd quite like to build an IL-62M and do it in the BOAC/Cunard scheme.  ;) ;D

And me being a card carrying member of the Airliner SIG they'd probably throw me out.  ;D

In some ways it's a pity the Il-62 is so 'Russian' looking and the VC10 is so elegant. While they're obviously related design-wise there's no mistaking one from the other in reality.

I rather fancy doing a '62 like the one I saw tip over on its tail at Kastrup sometime in the early-80s, still in an Aeroflot scheme then. They'd forgotten to lower the tail prop while they were loading freight and over it went, KERRUMP! I heard the krump from inside the terminal!  :o

POFFLER!

That had me chuckling Jim, but what would it carry? Somehow I can't see a '62 lifting even one TOPOL-M.

Another one to add to the ever growing airliners list... A few more than one to be honest.

And in the never-saw-that-coming category, a 1/144th Fairey Battle from Zvezda:

Also, they've got the new IL-62 in:

The Wooksta!

The IL-62 is very tempting.  Not my scale but a good deal cheaper than the 72nd alternative.  Plus I've an Airfix VC10 to go with it.
