Just got my first three (there will be more! Many more! Muahahahaha!) Zvezda Mi-24s - and they're awesome!  All the good things you heard about them are true. Nicely engraved panel line detail, correct hull geometry, complete engine bays, nice selection of weapons, two decent pilot figures, three exhaust versions,... "Tiger331" on ARC, himself a Hind pilot, said that this is one of the nicest helo kits he ever built and he believes that this will be the definitive Hind kit for the next decades.

Zvezda cranked out another winner. They sure have turned out some great kits over the past few years. One can only hope that they will continue to release more great kits. Would love to see more 1/72 Soviet subjects done to the standard they've set now! A really good Fulcrum, Flanker, Frogfoot, Fitter,....
Cheers,
Moritz

This is not real "Crocodyle" - this is new Zvezda kit, built straight from the box!

Looks absolutely stunning

Not a helicopter man, but must admit there is "something" about the Mi-24

It's not my period but that is a very nice looking aeroplane. And Zveda's new releases are excellent

Want!!!  Nice touch to have a standing pilot as well as a seated one.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

In rubbles it works out at less than seven quid too. Be nice if we got it for that kinda price wouldn't it

Now that is a thing of beauty. Love the sprue shots. Wonder what it'll cost when it finally hits these shores?

T-50 is SO on the list a few times over.  I might look into that new one since it's got the 23mm twin cannons.  I've got my Hase 24A and 24P, the Hobby Boss 24V, and the Italeri 24V, but the sheer detail on it, and the fact it's got the 23mm mount, has me interested in the Zvezda V/VP.

I have quite a stash of 'Hinds'....the 1/72 Revell boxing with the great looking Czech Tigermeet markings is a nice kit as well....

I love the T-50, I must say. I'm surprised they haven't waited for the "production" version, though - I'm sure it will be different to this prototype. That Hind looks amazing as well - I must grab a couple of those at some point.

Been having a glance through the sprues of my T-50 today, usual great Zvesda quality, just a pity the weapons bays can not be built as open. Still, I could always build it as a production aircraft, and put some under wing pylons and weapons on it. But....then I would have to buy another as it looks too damned gorgeous slick. Looking at the pictures of the actual aircraft, I see they have been looking at my SU-34 model I did a while back, and stole the colour scheme  ;)
