Zvezda has up dated their kit lists and the 747-8 is the Intercontintal passenger version. http://zvezda.org.ru/catalog/passazhirskij-avialajner-boing-747-8/
Also they have pics of the British ships HMS Dreadnought and The Golden Hind (plus a Spanish Galleon), don't remember hearing about them.

Really want the Mil Mi24A and Mi35 and probably the airliner kits.

Mmmm Hind A!

Got to admit I'm kind of excited about a 1/350 Dreadnought, can't ever see me building one (might be convinced if it was 1/700) but look forward to seeing it on show stands.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I think I might just have one of those Hind A's and a mi-35. Airfix have not bothered replying to my email for a replacement canopy for the A model I have of theirs  :banghead: I wanted to make it into a heavily armed flying greenhouse complete with scale tomato plants and flowers

You might be out of luck with the spare green house Chris, I can'y remember when the kit was available last but reckon it was a long time ago.
My old one got done as a D so I'll have a look through my spares boxes to try and find it, don't remember seeing it in a very long time though! Might have fallen prey to the carpet monster.

Last time I got a spare from Airfix they sent it with no reply like Duncan mentioned.  Took a little while to come but it got there, I was starting to think they wouldn't send it.  They're supposed to be pretty good even some quite older kits that haven't been released since the eighties, although there's no guarantee of course.

At Telford last year I was having lunch with Mike McEvoy, Neil Robinson and the recently retired Trevor Snowden. Amongst other pearls of wisdom mentioned by Trevor was that Airfix keep LOADS of old kits stashed away just for the 'missing part' issues. Apparently some people actually sent kits back when they found the parts missing, so they put the whole kit into 'stock' for future use!

If you watch James May's programme on the 1:1 Spitfire he built, he visits the Airfix spare parts department.  I was surprised how small it was.  Obviously that just must be the kits "on the go" at that moment.   I couldn't see how they could sustain a 50 year output with the number seen.

Some Volkssturm figures from Zvezda.  Looks like an interesting companion to the Dragon kit.
