I like it very much! It looks fantastic with the leafy roundels and lightning bolts.

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Reminds me of when my dad told a story once from the days when we were stationed in Goose Bay. Some of the alert staff decided to play a prank on the US chaps and using water based paints over painted a pair of 106's as Canadian in their alert hanger. (poorly done roundels over the Stars and Bars) Staff used to wander about each other's hangers for a while until the pranks they played on each other got too big. The last prank Dad told me was when some US guys snuck into the Canadian hanger with some jacks and jacked up the main gear on a couple of Voodoos  that were scheduled for a training flight. The jacks were noticed but that handles to pump them were no where to be found and it took nearly an hour to get the jets down safely off the jacks. No real harm done other than with a schedule but the high jinx were ordered stopped there.

The jokes were great for everyone and no harm was ever done other than one Staff Sgt smashed his lunch box to smithereenes when someone spot welded his toolbox shut. Apparently he keep his lunch close by.

Nice looking Dart.  It would have made a great replacement for the CF100 and F-101.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Cobra,

   Thanks, man

Yeah, actually I did.  I thought about it for this project, and I even had the sharks mouth from an old F-4 kit, but I wasn't quite sure how to make it work.  I even dug through my F-105 sheets, thinking that maybe with the similarity of the nose shapes, it would work on the Six, but in the end, I just chickened out

I used the old Leading Edge CF-101 sheet for this project, and now I don't have any Canadian decals left, so I guess that project will have to wait.

                           Cheers,                Ian
