For the USA, how about a modified Grumman Skyrocket?

For France, how about the Bugatti Model 100?

US: Hughes H-1B (shortwing), Lockheed YP-38 or Curtiss YP-37, both with cropped wings.

France: Bugatti or D550 or Caudron C.714R (all real world speed projects)


Italy: CMASA CS.15 (real world project with FIAT A.S.8 16-cylinder engine, design influenced by MC.72)



USSR:Bisnovat SK-1 based racer of some sort, or maybe a 'YP-37ed' MiG-3?


Separate Canadian and Australian entries aren't likely, they'd probably just fall under the overall British Empire/Commonwealth.

Colours would be as per Grand Prix regulations, of course.

In Real World 1939 Australia could have fielded a CAC Wirraway or Wackett.  Neither were exactly hot rods.

Same as their AH-1G series, just with training markings.

there was a lot of tips....... We decided not to keep the secret and tell you what aircraft we prepare for Telford show.
 
Yes, it is injection moulded Martin-Baker MB. 5 in 1/72nd scale.
 
We promised some action. OK, here it is - We will prepare extra decal sheet with what-if camouflages (better say liveries) for "Boscombe Down aircraft", including colourful blue-white-red scheme and all black Qinetic plus some more. This decal sheet will be available only at Telford show, cost approx 4.50GBP.
