One to look out for. Slightly impractical with that undercarriage layout I would have thought, but what the heck  ;D

The Wooksta!

A load of Czechs are having a right "handbags at dawn" girly bitchfest on Britmodeller right now over the AZ/KP MiG 21.  Apparently, it's a warmed over RV kit.  Was getting quite heated.

Naturally, someone had to... stir the pot, shall we say?

And simply to show an example of good value, especially when compared to the Hasegawa re-releases on the same Hannat's news release.

THREE kits in one box?  :o  I almost wish I liked Me-109s.............
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The Wooksta!

I've a pair of the re-released Spitfire Tr.9 on order, despite having a small stash of the original release, and a pair of the mk 16 lowback joypack.  If they added a set of canopies for the highback fuselages in the box, it'd be even better value.

I've ordered a box to do 3 aircraft of Foreign users. Bit of a nostalgia trip to back when I discovered after market transfers at BMW's back in the 60's and made a shelf full of the Airfix 109 G  ;D

Ordered this this morning. 3 Spitfires for £16.80, seems like a good idea to me

Hmmm, 3 in 1. Is that why it's a 'Joy Pack'? Does it come in both high and low back versions?

IIRC, you get one low back fuselage sprue and 3 highback.  I've only seen one sprue shot, I don't have the kit yet.  If that is indeed the case, my order is dropping to just the one.  And that's just for completeness sake.

I was very tempted but as I haven't had any good ideas for the 3 Spits I already have I couldn't see the point of getting 3 more.
Apart from the obvious joy of getting more kits for the stash that is.

The mk 16 Joypack is three mk IX kits plus a solitary lowback fuselage.  I have one for completeness sake.

In other news, Jan Polc of AZ has announced that their special kit for Telford is a 72nd Saunders Roe SR53.

Interesting.  Any idea of prices?

That should be good, anything would be an improvement on the ancient Airfix offering.
