Now you see what I meant before about Sharkit's instruction sheets, superb!

As for the the backstory of how the Hes-011 engines got to be in the N-9, it was because that neat little engine was available right when they needed it, and there were lots of them lying around in Germany doing nothing at the time....  -_-
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Nene engine is two fatty

Never was a truer word spoken in translation....... ;D :thumbsup:

I wanted to say "too fatty" but...

the engine must be as front as possible,
so for the weapons, because of weight balancing;

on the pict below the black Hes engine is  about at its good place;

The Horten revell part kit was kind of volume doc;
(the one shown  has been modified to do the flown Horten IX prototype,
a conversion to be released "one of these days")

An engine pod (hes engine from the sharkit  Horten fernbomber XVIIIb)
helps the job;

Its cut and place carefully; this is not easy ....
there is an angle with the horizontal axle of the wing
but hopefully the air intake of the Sword kit does not need to be changed:
This helps a lot...

kit prices:

I would love to make kits cheaper but its not possible:
in china workers cost 30 times less.

Open my mouth, insert foot...  LOL

In any case, love your work, but can't bring myself to pull the trigger.   Yet.
I exist to pi$$ others off!!!
My categorized models directory on my site.

Its very clear in my mind that resins jet conversion are expensive,
I have try and still try many things to make them cheaper
but did not found something that really works...

Some paper models are free, they are original models:
http://www.sharkit.com/alterra1/FreeDownload/download.htm
and comics and mags too.

I also sometime do some deals with people than can
assemble , paint models and make nice shots of them,
as I have very rarely the time to do that...badly...

Today I test the first parts from the mold
for the N9 jet conversion,
the price will be 10 euros ship include.

renax

some polyester,
a basic stuff for body car...
Cheap and can be found very easely.

After sanding and, more important,
corect positionning...

NARSES2

This is fascinating watching you work  :thumbsup:
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

renax

I have noticed that many modelers wanted to know how things are made...
if its helps...

sanding with water paper...

Exhaust regulator...

Optional air intake and optinal exhaust cone

renax

The molds and the firsts parts are ok,
the conversion is available, 10 euros with ship.

Freightdog862

Hello Renaud,
Its nice to see your Sharkit project develop here. my name is Colin and I run Freightdog Models, we make project planes to, but I get someone else to cast for me, as I do not have a basement like yours, only a garden shed!

renax

back from you site,
you specialised in decals, dont you ?

I cast myself so I can do very exotics subjects in very short series.
It takes a lot f time and half the range is stocked out...

Freightdog862

I do project kits under Freightdog Models name for Saunders-Roe SR177, and under my Silver Cloud name I do Avro 720 and Hawker P1154 Supersonic Harrier (complete kits) and conversions for Hawker P1083 and P1109B (Revell Hunter based).
Not all are listed at the moment as 720 is out of stock. The P1154 and SR177 are made by Anigrand for me, I get in batches of 30, other stuff is cast by a friend in the UK in smaller numbers. I agree its difficult to keep all in stock.
I also do decals, and own the Pegasus Models and Blue Max (WWI) brands which I bought from Chris Gannon just over one year ago. These are injected kits, but I don't have injection moulding equipment as this was sold to someone else. I plan to carry on these ranges in resin, next kit is BAe EAP due out in March.

After the engine the central part...

Its enlarge like the XB35 central part.

Cockpit is moved back to make place for guns.

renax

Here the modification of the cockpit, enlarging the central part
the way the B-35 was.
The cockpit is put backward to make place for guns.
Its still possible with the same landing gear positioning
