Where can you get the 1/72 Sword N-9M though? Big H don't even list it.

Kit: They do show up on eBay once in a blue moon. I have 2. Both will be-engined. One with a Merlin and the 2nd with Reanud's HeS's.
Work In Progress ::

Lots of stuff

renax

I just bought one !
Hin hin more stuff to work from !

The N9M jet Sharkit conversion from the Sword kit was released in 2010.
This conversion was engines to fit on the Sword N9M.
This conversion is not available anymore.
The kit page on the Sharkit site:http://www.sharkit.com/sharkit/n9jet/n9jet.htm

The next N9M Jet release will be a complete/full kit, so ne need for the Sword;

The central part will be larger than the original N9M one.

See below, a detail from a working sheet:

I like the sound of this very much.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Renaud & all,

I know that you've several kits which are no longer in production and am wondering what it would take to change that!

What I'm thinking about here is if enough of us gathered to make it worthwhile to do a short and specific production run of some of your otherwise out of production kits.

Specifically for me, I'm after the SX-1 / 2 Espadon from the Blake & Mortimer series.  Out of your existing catalog however, there's bound to be other subjects as well!

What I'm envisioning is gathering enough individuals together to make things worthwhile for such a run.  The effort for which would only start on your part once the money had been gathered up front as well.  That way there'd be no worry of coming up short with folks who's enthusiasm outran their wallets!

Is this something you could support?

Thanks,

Madoc

Recast of the old sharkits occures little by little, the next planned is the Rocket Belt.
http://www.sharkit.com/sharkit/rocketbelt/rocketbelt.htm

Probably also released this year, some of these ones:
HARPON: http://www.sharkit.com/sharkit/Harpon/harpon.htm
BRUCHE: http://www.sharkit.com/sharkit/bruche/Bruche.htm
DEVER: http://www.sharkit.com/sharkit/dever/dever.htm
HORTEN IIIf: http://www.sharkit.com/sharkit/Ho-III/Ho-III.htm
GLOSTER CXP: http://www.sharkit.com/sharkit/CXP/cxp.htm
DASSAULT ACT : http://www.sharkit.com/sharkit/ACT/ACT.htm

The "ESPADON" needs a retooling before recasting, to bring it at the actual standards.
Also some desktop espadon can be found on the second hand market, sometime for cheap,
as it was released after the sharkit in important quantity.

Collect money before recasting a kit is too difficult to manage and risky,
as the experience teached me that as long as the kits are not casted,
problems can occure and stop the kit production. And problems occures very fast.

Thats why I dont talk of the new kits that will come,(I talk only about recastings)
as if you add the mastering problems plus the casting ones,
impossible to be sure that a model will be realeased.

If some are interested in a model, then dont hesite to let me know (renaud@sharkit.com)
it will help the recasting decision.

If some want to collaborate to the release or recasting of some models,
for instance by retooling some, dont hesit to tell me.

Its obvious that collaboration is the path of evolution...

I cannot alone release new kits, recast and retooled the old ones, and managed the whole thing...

Captain Canada

That is awesome ! I wouldn't trust a para as pilot tho....he might just jump off !

still maybe 10 days to know what it is ...

Tophe

Teasing...
I am going to stop breathing for the forthcoming 10 days... (no, this is a joke) ;)
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

renax

Tophe, pour le Dever ça va venir...

just there is a choice to do in the recasting,

and there is maybe 10 or 15 kit to choose from...maybe more in fact...

Nice!

Reminds me of these things I did years ago:

"Things need not have happened to be true. Tales and dreams are the shadow-truths that will endure when mere facts are dust and ashes, and forgot."
