...and that much for an equally old 1/144 707 is a tad steep too!

Both ex-Frog.

A lot of the ex-Frog tools are now being released under the Ark label but using the Eastern Express artwork, so there's some tie up somewhere.

The Attacker is £7.50.  £7.50 for a 50 year old tooling?  Someone's having a giraffe somewhere.

Thats about the average price I've noted in several different places on the web and seen them go regularly at, on Evilbay.

The Wooksta!

I saw an Eastern Express Attacker on a second hand stall at Telford for £12.99.  £12.99?  The price of second hand kits now is becoming a joke, fueled by inflated prices for rubbish on ebay.

£3 is a fair price for that kit and probably somewhat on the generous side!

Plenty of scope for whiffing there, is an AC-23 too obvious???
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Most of you probably heard about this already but Eastern Express are doing a series of Tristar kits starting with the Pan Am Tristar 500.

Not before time either. The Tri-Star has been badly covered in the 1/144 scale so far.

The tug and bus sets are interesting.  I see there are three other sets in the series too, sets 1 & 2 are Russian/Soviet trucks (could be converted to the military role), set 3 gives your four self propelled air stairs:
