Missy the Toddler-Gatherer has a nap every afternoon between 1330 and 1530..... This was started at 1335 and finished well before she woke-up, including painting and detailing the IP/Cockpit. Longest 'part' of the build..... Cramming-in enuff weight in the tiny little area in front of the cockpit and above the nose gear well..... managed it, and it ISN'T a tail sitter !......

RESULT !

As ever all comments, questions and outrage, welcome. Thanks for looking.

Now that turbo-prop variant certainly looks a little tougher than the first ! Nice one !

Keep the updates coming, Ian ! I don't know how you do it, when my kids had naps, I'd head staright to the couch for my nap as well !

A Fennec?  A dodgy Rolf Harris impression??? ;) ;) ;)

Had to get in before Nev did! ;D ;D ;D
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

And masked......

Next some Humbrol H118 'Vietnam Tan'

BlackOps

That is the ugliest splinter camo I've ever seen!

Seriously, can't wait to see this one get unwrapped!

I've got a monogram 1/48 T-28 I'm going to build up to match my RC plane I'm working on. Was tempted to enter it here but didn't think I could make the deadline. I got excited when I saw Ian put on the dayglo, you'll see why when you see my photo below.

Here's the RC version in progress.

You can see the monogram t-28 in front of the rc version on the bench. You can also see the profile hanging above.

Here is another Fennec that I thought was pretty cool (gotta love the weathering!) http://www.airliners.net/photo/Thailand---Air/North-American-AT-28D/1195218/L/

Great find with that Thai T-28, Jeff...... erm..... don't know how to tell you this, but, erm...... there's no day-glo on mine......

Must be the effect of the flash.

Yep..... Spanish Republican !

Timeline later, and a BIG thanks to our good friend Snr. Narses II for the help with the historical context. As this is typed, I'm applying the decals.
