for some strange reason, it reminds me of the XFA-27 fighter from Ace Combat 2 & X

although it looks more like a VG version of the swept wing CFA-44 from Ace Combat 6

Thanks Paul  ;D Dang Ice those are cool. I gotta start paying more attention to those game designs.
I am working on reinforcing the wing joints and configuring the lower surfaces. I am thinking conformal tanks between the Flanker's LG (now eliminated) and the Tomcats landing gear.

There's absolutely NO answer to that!!!!  ;D -_-
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Now that's RADICAL!

Of course, I never believed the Snap-Tite F-14 guff: I knew you only bought it to get a 1/100th Tomcat canopy for a Super Magister of your own......

MY APOLOGIES
I really didn't expect y'all to believe this one. I expected either outrage or laughter :banghead:
My sense of humor apparantly does not translate  ;D
I only bought the snap together Tomkitty so I would have a set of 1/100 VG wings for the canards

Ahhhhrgg .... how could I've missed that !!!

That's brilliant ... pure sex !!

Thanks for posting.

So I'm guessing the canards are all moving & the wing sweep is controlled digitally instead of being linked via a wingbox like in the legacy VG birds?

Dont even think the term "kick a**" even does it justice man!

Good to see the concept which has been played with here in various iterations turned into plastic!

Thanks y'all .This will be a very advanced modern and or future bird made mostly from composites and super alloys. Total fly by wire and electrical rather than hydraulics. I am thinking that with modern components it could be built lighter than a Tomcat
