Ok I did get some stuff done today even though I am still fighting with the home PC :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
Rough sanding

I did not like the big notch at the front bottom of the intakes so I eliminated it

I also wanted some fairings coming off the vertical stabs ala MiG-29

HOG

Hiya Ron

S`lookingud and another fine candidate for a well known colour. That top view reminds me of a Barnes Wallis design for a Vari` Geo` plane that I think was called the swallow, but he didn`t think of the likkle front winglets.

As to the name "Cobra", I think a slight variation or poss NATO name should be Cobbler as it`s certainly ballsy enough.   ;D

My putty stock is up on the market, thanks Ron !

BlackOps

Ron, sorry to hear about the computer problems, I know how frustrating they can be  :banghead:

On the other hand, if you keep knocking out kickass builds like these, your going to have to release your own coffee table book of aircraft designs  ;D

Shasper

Soto I think you need to start a putty - fu school . . . cuz I thought I had it down & then I look at this (lol)

Now are you planning on leaving the fences on the canard gloves or are they gonna be removed?

Shas I am still debating that. Please give me some opinions. I know what wing fences do but I am not really sure whether I should leave them on or grind em off. Opinions

ElectrikBlue

My opinion is that you should remove them because their angle is not parallel to the center line.

I agree.  They need to be streamlined or taken off.  So it's probably easier to just cut them off.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Like Ed says, I think they'd look good if you faired them in, a long fin fillet tapering to nothing where the two wing gloves meet.  Otherwise hack em off!  My tupence worth (feel free to chuck that tupence straight into the gutter!), I know you like to add lumps & bumps, but I'd say this one needs to remain largely clean.  Maybe some large ventral fins in opposition to the dorsal ones might work if you're itching to stick stuff on it?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

sotoolslinger

The fact that they are not parallel to the airflow is what was bugging me about them  ;D. Off they come  I had already planeed on having the ventral fins from the Flanker on
