Pulled this one out of storage to work on it.  This is a 1/72 variation on the AMT B-70, the NAA SST from the early Sixties (all the construction was done up to this point before I found some NAA artwork on the net).  The fuselage uses the entire AMT B-70 upper fuselage, but have scratchbuilt over this the mid-cabin area and aft fuse-cap from sheet styrene and large applications of bondo.  The wing is the B-70 center-section (light grey), kitbashed with Testors SR-75 lower wing/engines (darker grey) - a good feature was the humped lower belly similar to the L-2000 SST, where luggage/cargo was stowed - and the rest (white areas) were scratchbuilt from styrene sheet.  Haven't decided on single tailfin or twin-fins.

A few more shots of the lower wing and engine nacelles.

That's going to be one large table filler but it will look spectacular

Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to watch out for!!!

Great!  Is this a real project?  I've seen some designs for SST's based on the B-70, but they simply had cabins in the exisitng fuselage with little changes otherwise.  I like yours much more wether real or not, much more considered.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Mossie, it's a real project.  Have another AMT B-70 i'm building as the AV-2 with the kinked wings, otherwise stock, should have taken a few shots with the two together.
