AND, the Go229 was built by Hanney, a very good friend of TSRJoe's wife.
She is Finnish, and as you can see, a sensational model maker.

Alle kunst ist umsunst wenn ein engel auf das zundloch brunzt!!

Sic biscuitus disintegratum!

Cats are not real.
They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

AND, there were other RW models that caught my eye...................

including, right at the end, the senior best of show.
The derelict that all can see if they are driving down the A1 near Newark.

Thanks guys, appreciate the pics.

"AND, now Sci-Fi..................."  Yay.  Jim sent me the link to this guys site, some cool builds and cool pics.

Interesting to see some builds on that side of the pond that reflect stuff I have seen over here.

My buddy Gavin built this Calypso over 10 years ago:

And saw this one at the 2007 IPMS/USA Nationals:

Howard , old bean,

Yes we had a spiffing time at Perth.

The T-46A Thingy is in fact Lenny100's Harri-Hog, and I leave it to your imagination to work out which ywo types he is squeezing into one!

This was his proof of concept model, just to see if it would work before he butchers two 1/48 scale kits.
This one is 1/72 and he displayed it as if it was stored at Davis Monthan.

here is the build as i work on it but its on the back burner at the moment as i work on a few other ideas for Glasgow
Me, I'm dishonest, and you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest.
Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to watch out for!!!

That Lightning wreck looks superbly realistic. The builder must have took lots of pics to get the graffiti styles right.
Shame there's a Lightning in that condition though.

Martin H

that model is of the Newark A1 wreck Nick.  It won (quite rightly) the best in show award.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Looks like the show was excellent-too far for me to go though.
