Most people here use photobucket to host the photos and just past the url.
the size is almost zero then

Jay Bee, I *think* NMF means Natural metal Finish (like on the early F-100s, F-86s & Mirage IIIs)

I uploaded a photo of two Martin Marylands and a Hughes R-11 to Photobucket (got an account there), but I guess I am too dumb to figure out what to do.  I did not see a place where a url is assigned, just a bunch of places )(like facebook, my space, etc) that I do not have any experience with.

So, how do you jjust upload a photo to some sort of general url?

Sorry to be so stupid.

Move your cursor over the pic, a menu offering you a few options should pop up/drop down, from there you should see the [img] code to right click - copy.

Here are a few more What ifs, a Martin Maryland A-22 in USAAF service and a Hughes R-11B as used in the Korean War, along with a more normal Maryland.

Let's see if this works.

Wes,

It did, well done!

Tell us more about the models please. Presumably the Marylands are the old Frog kit, but is the R-11 the Execuform XF-11 vacform?

I've got one of those, but never got started on it, looks an awesome piece of plastic!

You are correct, the Marylands are indeed the old Frog kit, and they were actually pretty good kits, IMHO.  The Hughes R-11 is the Anigrand (everything I do is in 1/72), and it is a fine kit.  This was my 2nd or 3rd resin kit, and was pretty easy to built.  I did make some major mistakes in assembly, however, in fitting the horiziontal stabilizer, but black paint can cover up a multitude of sins!!

Other Anigrand kits I have (photos to follow) constructed are the 3 "missing" Century Series fighters and the Vought XF8U-3 (in service it would have been called the F9U-1), and the McDonnell XP-67 Moonbat (painted in operational WWII USAAF Markings).

Here are a few more What Ifs, an operational F-103 and A-5 Vigilante Interceptor in NMF.  The 103 is the Anigrand kit, and the Vigi is the old, old 1/76 Monogram A-5A; it is about the right size for a single seat interceptor version in 1/72.  Since the first idea of a Vigi interceptor for the USAF was first proposed in about 1960, it would probably have been called the F-110, under the pre-1962 designation scheme.

Wes,

That '103 is HUGE! I know it was a large aircraft but it even dwarfs a '105! It looks really good in a service finish too.

How about a larger pic of the fighter Vigi? It looks a fascinating device, and you rarely see it built, even though the project is mentioned quite often.

Wasn't the first USAF F-4 Phantom designated the F-110 though? Also an ex-Navy a/c too....

Oh yes, I like the blue tailed F-82 Twin Mustang too, I have that decal sheet but never used it so far.
