Great photos Steve, thanks for posting.  Love the "butterfly" collection, absolute genius.  Like the German tourists @ Stonehenge as well, original idea.

As for Terezin, why does it remind me of City-17 from Half Life 2?

It was a fantastic way to show the Trumpeter 1/350 scale stuff and deservedly won first prize in it's class

I was thinking exactly the same thing when I saw the pics, I could have sworn they were in game screenshots.....

The place has very dark history, at least in the 1939-45 period.   

It was one of the Jewish ghetos created to by the Nazi's. The one the SS tarted up in 1945 to hoodwink the redcross, into believing that they were looking after the Jews.
It was a very thought provoking place for all three of us.
As Ive said in other posts, the German branch of my dad's family disappeared some time in the 1940's. Yes they were Jewish. So the place may have had a little more meaning to me.
