Since most of the delicate fiddly bits are on the bottom, think of transporting it upside down. I might suggest a small box with airfoil cut-outs for the wings and half-round scoop-outs for the fuselage; a box that would support the right wing (with the radar antenna on top) mid-way out, thus an asymmetrical layout for the fuselage cut-outs. Pad the support parts of the box with soft wash-cloths or something. The result should be the upside-down Anteater protruding from all sides of the box, but supported and swaddled so that no movement or damage occurs. Hopefully you won't have too rough a ride over pothole-strewn roads.

This HAS to been seen at your local model group's meeting!! FIND A WAY to get it there!

Listening to the Japanese broadcast of the escape (previous post), I picked out "Arikuri Tae" a couple of times! BINGO!!

That looks great, Allan - the weathering toned down the colors quite a bit. I love the pictures with the ? leaves in the background. They give the pictures an extra Japanese feel to them.
