A comprehensive western helicopter armaments set in 1/72nd scale, and a Russian/soviet one wouldn't go a miss either. My stock of weapons from the bone yard is getting painfully thin now. Hasegawa, Skunkworks I do hope you are reading this, as I have too many helicopters waiting to be given a set of sharp teeth.oh and some chin turrets with different guns in would be a nice addition to these.

And while you're at it, please don't forget about the ASW helos.  Finding torpedoes is a royal PITA.  Some Penguins, Sea Eagles, and Exocets would be nice as well.

Well, I don't ask much so, my minimal shopping list will include the following;

Vulcan B1, Victor B1, Hastings, Beverley, Andover, Argosy, Belfast, C-17, C-123, C-124, C133,C-17, C5A/B, B-47, DC-7,c-141, VC-10 (ALL 1/72 of course!!). Oh, lets not forget to add a DECENT B-52D/F/G/H ( Monogram kit while good is a bit long in the tooth. I have serious issues with the AMT kits!!)

Ermm! That's all I can think of at the moment. Sure something else will occur to me later! ;D
Loves JMNs but could never eat a whole one!!

1/24 pick up such as a toyota hilux (other than the MiG resin one) so i could make a technical

Monogram/Revell do a Ford F250 that's available at the moment.  It's a late 80's model I think, there's also a F-350 available.

Aoshima do/have done a few versions of the Hilux, older & more recent models.  Most of them are blinged-up with the suspension either raised or lowered, you might be able to cross kit them or do some surgery.  Tamiya have a few kits like the Pajero & Land Cruiser, although all have saloon bodies AFAIK, but it's cheaper to convert them then get hold of the MiG Productions kits.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Well Italeri are re-issuing the ex Esci 1/24th Paratropper Land Rover this year and a i seem to recall they were also doing a 'Technical' although i can't remember what 4x4 is used as a basis

lol...my bad...slip of the fingers on the keyboard  ;D.....was supposed to be 1/35!......its a pain cos you can get the weapons in 1/35 but not the civvie vehicles where its the other way round in 1/24.....in 1/24 theres loads of pickups available from the likes of amt/ertl/aoshima etc.

Well after working on converting a WW2 Essex class in to an angled deck version in 1/700 as HMAS Australia i can safely say i would really like Trumpeter to look to creating the Angled Deck Essex along with a late 50's -early 70's airgroup so we get the likes of Tracker, Tracer, Crusader, Skyhawk and Skyraider together with Skyray, Demon and Tiger to give a better range of cold war aircraft. The real options and the whiff options would be tremendous especially with separate aircraft available !

A non-mainstream weapons set in 1/72nd would be nice. Things like Thomson-Brandt rocket pods in 68mm and 100mm and fixed-wing and helo versions, BAP-100/BAT-120 bombs, FN gun pods, GIAT 20mm pods, Piranha AAMs, Pescador ASMs, Kukri AAMs, U-Darter AAMs, non-US ECM pods etc...

You can get Sea Eagles in 1/48 at least here
Penguins can be found in one of the Hasegawa Weapons sets I seem to recall.

Danish inter-war infantry, 20mm Madsen gun in various mountings and a Nimbus E motorcycle in 1/72.

Well, Hobby Boss gave us a 1/72 Rafale family, RV.Aircraft gave us a 1/72 MiG-23 family (with -23BN and -27 apparently in preparation) and High Planes/PJ will give us a 1/72 Mirage III/5/50 family... well, um, I'll have a Coke, then;D

What would be cool would be a 1/72 Su-25 Frogfoot from Zvezda. And a MiG-29 family. Done to the standard they set with their Mi-24s.
And a new line of 1/72 Mirage F1s & 2000s and JA-37 Viggens (the other Viggens, too) by Hasegawa and, although not as necessary, a new tooling of a 1/72 JAS-39 Gripen.
Maybe have Revell downscale their 1/48 F-15E to 1/72 and their 1/72 F-16s to 1/144.
And some decent toolings of trainers in 1/72 - PC-7 and 9, Tucano, Super Tucano, Texan II,....

I know most of these types are available in the scales I specified, but I'd really like to see some up to date kits of these. Available kits that you don't have to sink in a ton of work and/or after-market parts to make decent models.
Cheers,
Moritz

You could make the 20mm quite easily by using a .30 cal MG in 1/35.  I'd use a .30 cal to start with and build up the barrel length with a piece of wire and add a drum magazine from a piece of plastic rod.
