Hello,

painting is started.

The scheme is generally based on the one used on the F-4E Phantoms/Kurnass in the mid '80s with IAF 3-tone colours.
The sand and green colours are already on with some weathering.

Next will be the Tan colour.

Hello,

thanks my friends!

Last colour (Tan) of the top camouflage pattern was done last evening.

Hello,

many thanks to all for your kindly comments.

Here some other progress, with many detail parts painted.

I like the visual effect of black and orange areas... remember me the Mirage IIICJ/Nesher/Kfir C.2 camoulfage.

Next will be a good clear cote.

It's all for now.

Piero, she's really coming together nice! Couple of questions:

- what are you using for a rivet tool?

- how are you masking the camouflage sections?

Thanks!
Graeme

Oh my goodness.....I'm not sure which is worse - the existance of a knitting forum, the fact that it is so popular, or the eerie similarity to modelling forums (its even got a stash thread!)
