Dear Kitbasher, you make me dream. VERY pleasantly yes indeed, thanks.
Maybe I will write something about another universe, green, naive (without nationalism nor army anymore). Probably this would be shocking for most of you, so I will not pollute your own pages but build a site of my own, politically heretic for 99.999% of Humanity (and even 97% of what-ifers)... Or... well, B787 if you are the orginizing leader, could you tell me the principle? (maybe by PM)

Feel free to add any article you feel like adding. You start an article by either going to the front page and scrolling down to the link that says "start an article", or press the "New Page" link on the menu

Thanks, I will work on it today, and I will send it to you, dear B787. You will tell me if it can be included or should be posted elsewhere without contaminating your politically-correct fun... ;D

Writing, this is even better for me: providing like a meaning to my model collection...
And that helps me taking into account the last HALF-JMN models I was keeping. I will see what to do with them. Very interesting, thanks again!

You really don't need to send it to me. I check all pages on the whiffpedia anyway

I'm starting to build up the 'Aircraft of the Royal Alternative Air Force' page starting with my own stuff and then I'm going to add other 'types' from the forum.  My only self-imposed 'rules' are that they are What If? RAF only and that the page should be laid out like Owen Thetford's book (which is the inspiration), that is alphabetically by manufacturer and then chronologically by type.  Do feel free to add your own material if you wish. ;D ;D

Would you mind if i give the aircraft a page for themselves? Should the "aircraft of the alternative RAF" include the full discription, or just a cut down discription with a link?

I have almost finished writing my text, with just the pictures to make, but I fear I will not do it there, sorry. Your principle is "anyone can edit", so my text will be destroyed >:( , as 'insulting' all believers, feeling right thanks to usual education and journalists' TV. No need to make war >:( , I will create a crazy site of my own, strictly personal.
Anyway, I thank you a lot for this idea of organising a whole model collection into a what-if History. Great, thanks a lot!

I suppose it is possible to prevent someone from editing a page. I just have to learn how

Anyhow, i really don't think anyone on this forum would feel a need to edit something they didn't think up themselves :)

Edit: I found out how to keep people from editing a page. Its up to you if you would like to post it ;)

I have the experience, on the main Wikipedia, of having added a clever addition, correctly justified, and this has been destroyed completely (the very same day) by someone refusing that to be said. This was a bad experience. I understand people may be shocked sometimes and then refuse all, with wrong distorting accusations - we see that almost everyday on French TV. And I prefer not fighting such a war turining friends into enemies...
Anyway, this is wonderful to try imagining a backgroung giving a fascinating dreamy meaning to our little models. Thanks again.

Would that be an option though? (For those of us having difficulty logging in to Whiffpedia.)

Ok then, you can send it by PM. Please do a spell check.

For other people, you can send by PM too, but please try adding directly to the whiffpedia first

So, what do I do? What is the secret extra tool? Or should I send you (B787) the text and pictures, or the html code or what? The whiffpedia requires a title before doing anything, is it possible to try then to escape without confirming? Or will that produce a news line for nothing?

Just send it to me, and i will add it
When i access the whiffpedia, i can press a button that says "Protect", which keeps people from editing. Only the administrators can edit it then (me and puddingwrestler)

Ooohhh - I just had a mental image of something entirely different with this (trying to get rid of the image now :banghead:) - put it this way:  Radish would be at least a Group Captain ;D.

All hail the God of Frustration!!!

The Wiki edit tool is a nightmare...
When you type Preview, impossible to come back to edit
Quite often, when you type and save, what you have typed has disappeared, and going to edit it again shows like never typed
Some preformated aspect appears here or there where nothing has been requested, and impossible to come back to Normal
Awful...

I give up. The editor does what it wants, not obeying me at all...
(adding hundreds of blank lines and refusing to take into account my removing them)
