For mine, I sometimes use decals. That is, paint white on a clear decal, add several coats of yellow-orange, then cut to shape for the wing.

OR...mask off the wing area carefully, then paint white and two yellow coats. Works for me!
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!
