Oh, a sort of "pre-Badger" !!!

The one with the wings swept forward rocks!

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Ah, I love 'em. My 2 favorites are the swept wing 4-engine version (3rd picture) and the delta wing version. The FS outer wings reminds me of a Kinkgon Bird of Prey.

What if a liner derived from CASA C.2111?

Your third one from the top has a certain resemblance to the H P Victor, imho.
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

Unironically, it'd be a return to the He-111's Treaty of Versailles development roots, as seen in this Roden kit.

But with Merlin engines.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The first two concepts are an easy conversion - the later ones are a bit more challenging. but food for thought.

The main point is the diameter of fuselage. In the drawing I posted, C.2111 is 212 cm (exterior, top to down) and my proposal is 280 cm. He-111 is too narrow, IMO.
