Here are a couple of new 'cats; the Monogram 1/72 kit, in this case with a different paint scheme, some decals pirated from a few kits, and a set of 4 blade props from a HobbyBoss Typhoon.

Here is a little better shot.

You are right about the spinners; never thought of that.

Excellent!...you can't have enough Tigercats can you?
But could we please have some more piccies of the 'Nam coloured one...you know I'm a bit partial to that colour scheme...
It's a big, wide world out there...so if it's all the same to you I'll just stay indoors!

They're puurrrty (I've already got my coat).

I prefer the grey one myself. The spinners really do something for them don't they?

Those two do look very nice!

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Thanks, I really like Tigercats, in my parallel world, the Tigercat (F7F and P-65 for USAAF) came out a bit earlier during WWII and thousands were built.  It was so good that it was heavily used in Korea and later in Vietnam, as a close air support bird and escort for rescue helos.

Here are some 'cats that I built in 1977, using A-1 Skyraider 4 bladed props.  The blue one is stretched and has a longer wing.  I remmeber purchasing many Monogram A-1E kits just to get the props for these!!

At present I have 22 Tcats; the first one was done in March 1977 (a what if "jungle fighter" from SEA) and the most recent (ADC grey with F-105B serial and Buzz Number) was done last week.

Here is a shot from a few years ago with about 7 cats in various schemes on the shelf (along with a few other What ifs).

L u u u u v the blue one with the T-Tail!
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

What an excellent collection!
Not sure that the blue one is such a pretty machine anymore though...that's one hell of a nose it's got!...

I wonder what a Soviet one would look like?
