The story is coming after the decals get applied.

I like using boxtops as decor in my Man Space.


Allows you more depth when used with models.

Decals are being applied. Will need to give it some subtle weathering as well. The unveiling is coming soon.

Okay I'll give you all a peek at what progress I've made. Most of the decals are on, I still have some touching up to do, add the fiddly bits and weather it a tad. Oh and the back story is about finished too. I'm still wondering why Airfix didn't put the same effort and quality into this kit as they did the Lightning. Given the mystic around this aircraft I would think they'd have done better.

Your TSR-2 looks fantastic; really looking forward to the backstory.  A guess would be that the TFX (F-111) got canned, the TSR did not, and the USAF swallowed their pride and bought this fantastic aircraft.  Since it looks like your model is in the pre-cammo scheme of NMF and anti-flash white undersides, it is probably intended for the role that the FB-111 had, rather than a more tactical role.

If the above is at least partially true, will there be a SAC emblem and perhaps a Bomb Competition marking on the tail?
