Robert,

Yes, but this is WhiffWorld so you could get the tyres to deflate automatically as the leg folded into the bulged lower u/c bay and then re-inflate as the gear went back down again.................. ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

I like it.. this is great fodder for this type of thing.

Awaiting the paint stage.

Thanks for sharing a great project

B-49B Night Bomber of the USAAF, 1947.  The first stealthy bomber used on night missions over Europe.  It was virtually invisible to Axis ground and nightfighter radars.

It's finished, it looks good, and I have no idea where I'm going to put this monster.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

I like this one! When I saw the pin-up and the night scheme, I immediately thought of the hard-driving beat of the song "Black Betty" by Ram Jam...."Whoa, Black Betty (bam-a-lam)"
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

I really like this one Ed

I had an XB-35 hanging from the ceiling for the longest time before our house move, it sort of disappeared once it was amongst the other models.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

The paint scheme is inspired, but the placement of the "nose" art is icing on the cake!

Well done, Ed!!!

Terrific. Often wondered where nose art should go on "Flying Wing" types. You have answered the unasked question in the best possible way
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

This is very precious. Very good work.

You are one brave modeler, Ed.  And this looks the part.  Wow.
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Lovely job Ed!  I like the colours and a differnt slant on this aircraft. I was going to do mine in a boring SAC type scheme!

You could go for a Arc Light type scheme.

The nmf on top/black on bottom is sublime.  And I have to agree with the others--the nose art is perfecto!

Thanks, all.  I appreciate the comments.

Don't know how I missed this one, lovely work Ed!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
