Kampfgeschwader 200 was the Luftwaffe's special operations wing that carried out long-distance reconnaissance flights, tested new aircraft designs and tested and flew special missions with captured aircraft.

With West Germany being on the front line of any future war in Europe, and the West German military believing that they have a requirement to provide support for national and NATO special operations, reform KG200.  Over to you...

Hmmm I see lots of soviet aircraft in German crossed. what if the Luftwaffe decided to ressurect the wartime KG200's test and evaluation colour scheme? It'd look good on any number of types. Also, I don't see any issue with throwing civve aircraft into the mix either.
As someone who has always been interested in KG200 I would be seriously interested in this GB

Perhaps KG-200 kept an account with Tower Hobbies and made remote control drones for flights monitoring E. Berlin in the late 1960's on.

Don't forget there is already an alternative Luftwaffe GB on the table - this would fit in with that.

How about an MC-160 Transall Combat Talon III fitted with a pair of FLIR sensors in fairings on either side of the forward fuselage and a few extra ECM blisters and antennas.  Don't forget to add a pair of under wing pylons and fuel tanks for extended range and a few chaff and flare dispensers to keep those pesky SAM and MANPADSAM systems at bay.
