Hyperscale has posted a kit review by Mick Evans of the Skunkmodels Workshop US/NATO Modern Weapons Set (1/48th scale kit #SW48006) for your viewing pleasure.

Note: The title on the review page states this is 1/72nd scale and it is not if you read the summary information.  Quality Control appears to be sloppy today on Hyperscale.

Those could be useful for the SDBs if nothing else.

Time for the good news, bad news game.

Good news: Release of the 1/72 US/NATO weapons set (CLICKY!) is imminent! :)

Bad news: The contents have been badly slashed. Only two of each, and no GBU-38s! :(
Looks like the contents will be:
2x AGM-154 (JSOW)
2x AGM-84D (HARPOON)
2x AGM-84E (SLAM)
2x AGM-84H (SLAM-ER)
2x AN/AAQ-33 (Sniper Targeting Pod)
2x GBU-10 (Paveway II)
2x GBU-24 (Paveway III)
2x GBU-39 (SDB) with PYLON
2x IRIS-T

I think there will be 8 SDBs for two pylons. Anything else wouldn't make any sense.
Wonder whether there'll be two each AGM-84D and AGM-84E or whether there'll be parts for two AGM-84 missile bodies with parts for two seeker heads each (as in the 1/48 set)?

It will probably a nice set, but with only two weapons each the Hasegawa sets aren't far behind. Safe for the GBU-39s, Sniper pods and IRIS-Ts, all weapons have been done by Hasegawa before. And with the appropriate pylons where necessary.
Cheers,
Moritz

I only wanted this set for the SDB's really, so one set of them is a bit of a disappointment really.

The US/NATO Weapons set in 1/72 is now available form Lucky Model. CLICKY!

Please note the updated contents. The set now does include two GBU-38 JDAMs! The Sniper pods optics are included as clear parts. Neat!

Also available from Lucky Model is the Kinetic 1/72 F-16D Block52+ Greece/Poland. CLICKY! Apparently this includes the complete US/NATO weapons set! Meaning you get a nice two-seater Viper for a tenner!

Moritz

Go for it Dunc, but good luck on storing it!  Even the Platz/Italeri 1/72 kit takes up a fair bit of room with that wingspan.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
