Had this one going for a little while now, should meet the revised deadline all going well.  It's the F-16 kit, & given me the least problems as ar as PSR goes, in fact it didn't need much work apart from the intake which needed a fair bit of sanding.  I've snapped off the pitot (bound to happen) so I just sanded it flat, also the main undercarriage has snapped twice just from handling, it should actually be easier to fix on the model.  A small patch of paint peeled, which worried me for when the whole masking comes off.  I had was ready to upload the pics yesterday, but the missus nicked off with the camera!  So here it is so far:

PSR'd & unpainted:

Primer on:

Underside & first top coat on, masked & canopy attached:

Hell for leather for the deadline, second time around!

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Second & third top coats on.

Ah, well it did.  Remember I mentioned that paint peeling?  Yep, more came off when I removed the masking.  It should be recoverable, but I might be struggling to make tomorrows deadline.

I had a similar problem with the Tunnan.  The paint peeled leaving the primer coat intact.  I'm almost certain it's the paint that's the problem.  I'd washed down the model before painting to remove grease, dust etc.  I used Humbrol acrylics & the grey & tan colours (both satin) were a bit thin on application & took several coats.  It's these two that have peeled.  I'm starting to wonder if Humbrol Acrylic satin paints are the problem.

I'll get some more pics later & I'll crack (geddit??? ;D) on but I don't think I'll make it with this one.

Peeley patches.  I've taken care of the runs & ridges since this photo, although it's taking a few coats to sort out those peels.  There's two on the otherside, one on the underside.  Oh yeah, one of them is right next to the nose, which I need to mask.  Got a feeling I'm going to be firefighting with this one.
