The Arado is not a What If!
With this emblem the plane was used on German auxiliary cruiser in the Pacific.
As of 1942, with French national markings  ;D

What is the German armoured car originally, it looks like a Luchs 8x8, but I could be wrong.

Think you're right Chris, Luchs with a Panther turret.

It might have started life as a Luchs but it isn't how it ended up.  Its too wide and too high and has a completely new glacis and engine  cover.  The turret is obviously inspired by the Panther but its too short, while obviously the mantlet is a pig's head.  Bit of a mix between a smallturm and a large turret.

Good eye Rickshaw, never noticed the differences! Looks like Luchs running gear and side panels with the top decking/glacis of a tank (pretty sure it's a Panther but it's not an F) and the turret looks a lot like my Dragon Panther F but with a muzzle break equipped gun and a different mantlet. I'm not a massive tank builder/expert and as you can probably tell the only big Panther kit I have is the Dragon Panther F!
It's certainly an excellent coversion job and if I had a Luchs in the stash I think I'd want to bash one myself.

These were at the Show de Quebec.

Looks like there were a couple other nice ones but Steph seems to like the overall table shot better.

Merkavas always look cool, but I had no idea how cool they look in splinter camo!

The SA-2 is brilliant... would fit right in to those May day parades

that SAM-2 on T-55 isn't a Whif -- Cuba fielded several in parades -- looks cool tho  ;)
you may as well all give up -- the truth is much stranger than fiction.
