Oh my goodness! So much brilliant stuff in this page! The X-29 definitely is my favorite, but the Triebflügel, F-16 FSW, Shinden, Snow Plane, and the two undesignated Luftwaffe protos are equally brilliant! Keep 'em coming, folks, I can't get enough of this stuff!

Nice stuff!  Particularly like the Fuchs APC with KV-1 (?) running gear!
The Merkava/Gepard bash is also pretty nifty.
Cheers,

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Really good. The luft46 is not my favourite theme but the kits are really good.

Nice Merka-pard -- rather like the model that I built in 1984 or 85 on an ex-IDF M-108 hull.
Have also seen a Gepard turret on an Abrams hull which looked like it belonged there.
you may as well all give up -- the truth is much stranger than fiction.

Wow, that F-23 is WICKED!! Splendid job.
And of course, the Habbakuk model looks really great on display, a showstopper if ever there was one...

Yes it is and it's the first time I've realised how big it is - wow !!!

That Boeing B-52 (I assume it's the origional look of the prototype ?) is a stunner as well

Thanks Stargazer I wasn't certain but I thought Boeing's origional design had a similar cockpit. My do-do  :banghead:

By the way, found out these are Seadude's pics.  He posted a link to them all in another thread.

The original B-52 had the pilots under a teardrop canopy a la the B-47.  Curtis LeMay told them he wanted a traditional side-by-side arrangement.

Too bad he didn't say the same thing about the B-47.  Would make building a modern version easier  ;D

Always felt that was the best looking seating arrangement for the B-52.  I can appreciate that a traditional, stepped cockpit though, is better for a working relationship between pilots.
