I found this at Dampf's Modeling page, which is linked to in another thread in General topics.  There's a post about the UK Nats at Telford, with an attached slideshow.

I spotted this beast in the middle of things.  There's plainly an F-16 in there, but the props jazz it up quite a bit.

And the props are that most Whiffable of kits, the KP Convair XFY-1 Pogo. What an amazing use of them too!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

F-16, Mosquito, XFY (x2), and either a ME-262 or fancy drilling on the nose. My inner JMN might have insisted on canards, even little stubbies.

Noisy bird if ever built.

Like jets aren't?

At least with the Merlins it'll be a deep & throaty roar, not a high-pitched scream! ;D

Definitly F-16 and i think the wings are off a Mosquito with contra props from a Convair XFY-1 Pogo and the back is Saab Draken.

The pond skimmer looks like it may have a mixture of Blohm und Voss and Martin Marauder.

Always meant to add this MiG-15 from last year's Southern Expo:

When I first saw it, I thought it was a Real World "Red Bull" style private owner scheme. But it turned out to have been designed by the modeller's daughter - she came up with the colour scheme and he painted it for her. Paying more attention, you can see that the "Jumpin' Jacques" decals have come from a P-51, but it's still a really attractive model, nicely finished.
