Well, that's the way the Rainbow was meant to be, had it not been for the thousands of DC-3s turned over to the civilian market. I so hate the Dakota, because it deprived us of so many great aircraft...

It'd look great in a PanAm scheme too, I wish I could afford the Anigrand one!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
