Israeli Air Force CF-105 Arrow

Over on the FSM website is a preview composed of photos they "didn't have room for" in Great Scale Modeling 2009.  Included is the following, credited to an Alex Main of Calgary, AB.

The motivation behind Alex's fictitious Arrow? "I just thought it would be interesting to see an Israeli Arrow," he says. Starting with Hobbycraft's 1/72 scale CF-105 Avro Arrow, he added missile launchers from an Esci F-104 and a Matchbox F-14, as well as wheels, antennas, missiles, and radomes from his spares box. He airbrushed Polly Scale colors without masking, created convincing dirt with a wash, then dry-brushed silver to depict chipped paint. SuperScale provided the Israeli markings. Tom Calbury photo.
