Here's another I found via the x-planes blog on Tumblr, a Shinden/X-wing fantasy craft:

It's just so mind-numbingly brilliant.

I know this thread is usually for completed kits but this was just too pretty

neat MaK spacefighter with Karma-Sutra Tripartite Association markings.

you may as well all give up -- the truth is much stranger than fiction.

the things you learn, give your mind the wings to fly, and the chains to hold yourself steady
take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.

What a brilliant idea.  I have always wanted to do an Air Show diorama so I could showcase multiple models at the same time in a setting that works.
This would make a great club or SIG display.  Lots of kits in 72nd that could be used and populate the show with some Preiser figs...

Not a lot of Whif, mostly sci-fi & fantasy, but some neat stuff especialy -- http://www.rodneymatthews.com/hmhero.htm & http://www.rodneymatthews.com/icespirit.htm
Certainly one of the two best artists I've seen (along with Christopher Foss).
You may recognise some of his characters in childrens TV shows & books.

I got his Ice Spirit poster in 1977 & it's even more awesome than on the computer screen.
Some of his insect rockband pics are good too -- keep an eye out for the Tigermoth bi-plane in the background of one !!

I'm pretty keen on the 'Heavy Metal Hero'.  Seems like an oppurtunity for Revell's Big Boy:

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Here's another one from X-planes, part of his Sunday Fantasy series.  The caption reads:

Encounter w/ Luftwaffe Zombie Squadron"
