The dio of the monster attacking the air ship is brilliant!  :party: So is the AT-CT!  :thumbsup:

<...> that's why you got a front and back shot. <...>

Good thinking! :thumbsup: Great situational awareness!

The question remains, however, if the builder is one of our own, why haven't we seen more of it? The figure section sure could use some more entries.
Cheers,

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Got to agree it's fantastic. Love the aircraft parked on the deck. The "monopillar tank" is also excellent  :thumbsup:
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Some further info on that ARC fighter:
There was a build report of this ARC fighter in a German modelling mag. The idea for this build was born when the builder (apparently a die-hard Star Wars fan) was asked by a club colleague whether he intended to build "one of these ADAC-or-whatnot fighters". The funny thing is that the ADAC is the German equivalent of the US and UK (American) Automobile Association. They also operate several doze air rescue helicopters. Some time in the future (or a long time ago in a galaxy far away?) they will also have to help broken-down space travellers. Wonder whether they will provide "stellar" service? :rolleyes:

Moritz

That "combat car" is a nice model, but it doesn't match the description given in the stories at all.  A Slammers' combat car is an open-topped vehicle with three tri-barrel weapons on pintle mounts, one forward and the other two on the sides with firing arcs that cover from fore to aft.

Someone what-if-ed an AEW support version of the Robotech Alpha a.k.a. Mospeada Legioss (found here).

IMHO, the radar gear might have come from the Macross Frontier's VF-171...... but then again I'd reckon that it's the central idea that matters, not the source of parts that built the mental picture.  :cheers:

=====================================================================

The Genia looks pretty cool, too, as it reminds me of a proto-Alpha/Legioss that inherited some major parts of the VF-1 although what info I could find online points to a mecha going by the name Condor (this?  Good question- I've no clue).

I love the idea of an intermediate model built on a previous generation one- like Japanese Marcoss's VF-X-4, also built on the forward fuselage of the VF-1.  Palladium Books also came up with their own take on a proto-Alpha with VF-1 cockpit and nose.
To the individual soldiers, *everything* is a frontal assault!

Not sure if this one's been posted before, but it combines two models I've got going/will do soon:  the 2001 Moon Bus and a lunar rover based on the RoG 1/72 6x6 Hummel.
