BlackOps

The Scarab started out as a paper clip and evolved into an unmanned sci-fi ground support fighter bomber.  ;D

Humble begginings.

Changed the nose and added some details.

NICE!  I like it man.  A tubby little mud mover. You could probably pass it off as a not so distant future UCAV if you wanted.

How long did it take to knock that up?
Get this Cheese to sick bay!

Just how good is that!!!
It goes to show that nothing in your house is safe doesn't it
I really like the final product, it would look good as part of my S.H.A.D.O. force.

Cute little critter!  Has a Starbug look to it.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Sweet!

Looks like some of the Gundam stuff.

Brilliant.  Great use of "junk".   And well done too.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

This has gotta be one of my all-time favorite whiffs made from "found objects", Black Ops! I was bowled over how it looked in the first shots with the transparent green canopy, but then you took it to the next level with that masterful paintjob that would make folks think it was used in "Aliens".

Unbelivably imaginative and creative!

Now that's downright mental!  I love it!

The name is very appropriate! Did you come up with the name first and built the thing to fit the name or did you name it after it was finished?
Cheers,
Moritz

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Looking good...

and now you have all those other bits left over for something else

BlackOps

Thanks all!  ;D

Sisko, it probably took about four hours of bench time to build it which translates to about two months of stolen moments

Moritz, the name kind of fell into place after the shape started coming together.

This was one of those really fun builds, had no idea what I was going to do with it, but I was determined to make something out of that green paper clip!
