Thanks guys, lots to choose from now.  I'll give it some thought over the next little while.  I liked Simon's Astra and Jon's Vigilant, but then there's Antares too, and it could just be an Aurora as the Lockheed aircraft wasn't aquired at all.   Vickers Vancouver has a nice ring to it but doesn't sound so good if used as Canadair Vancouver. 

Hmm! so first I couldn't think of something, now I've got all these ---- decisions, decisions ----

i have often thought the perhaps names should relfect tho plane more closely - the Armstrong Whitworth Awful, the Consolidated Cock-up,the fairey Frightful - all good alliterative names.
