Thanks for all the great comments guys, apart from the paint giving me grief, I really enjoyed doing this build.
Next to get the S.H.A.D.O. treatment, is a CF-105
Cheers,
Chris.

I have to say that you have really captured the essence of the Gerr Anderson look.

Like the others also like the red tinted canopy. And the camo job wow!

Look forward to more.

thanks fellas, I really appreciate the comments. I have another Draken, a Grippen, an Ultra Sabre, a CF-105, a YF -12  2 F-19's and SR-75, an XB 70 and 2 x-70's that will all get the treatment......looks like I am going to be busy then
along with the ground vehicles, boats/ships and subs, oh and of course the UFO's and space orbiting stuff and various new weapons, I should be kept quiet for a little while.

That works for me! I've always love Gerry's work, and this fits the bill.

U.F.O. had one of the coolest pair of theme songs ever.
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

What a great looking plane!!  What was the basis of the kit, and what parts from other kits were used?

Cheers for the comments again
The base kit is the 1/72nd scale Airfix Draken, and the new wings are scratch built from styrene card. the twin tails are from an F-18, and the engine nozzle is off a SU-27 I think.I put some extra hardpoints on and moved them around also.
I happened to watch an episode of Thunderbirds the other day, and there was a Draken based aircraft on there, it had 5 engines on it, 2 on the tail on in the normal place and one under each wing. It was called the Red Arrow (only if eh?) and it looked pretty cool!
Cheers,
