About time I started this beast !  The sprues are drying after being painted flat black so far!

The history behind this peculiar vehicle is amazing. A scratchbuilding kitbasher used bits of a P-38, ping pong balls, etc to make the original...the writer of Ma.K was so impressed with the model, he built it into the storyline.

This is one of my all time grail kits!

Can't wait to see your treatment of it!

I had to look twice to recognize there a P-38 basis, but... all right, the two long pods, lateral, the central pod... I may try to invent more P-38-ish versions from it (for my fantasy-P-38 site), thanks.

well, the Falke is certainly something...it has an interesting way of construction process:

This is going to be a putty monster.

Greg,
I have heard that some other people have had fit issues with the pilot but others have had no issues.

The rest of the kit is supposed to fit fine.

Any hint on what scheme you are planning?

Very cool!!!  Cant wait to see your treatment of this!

BTW...Squadron have this kit on sale this month for $92.69...
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Personally, I don't think the kit is worth that kind of cash.  If it was 30 bucks or so, I'd be more agreeable.

As far as the scheme goes, can you say "Clan Hello Kitty" ?

more work on the figures:

Yeah, I'll take some grief for the build up over on MM, but the Hasegawa people loved the idea.

I'm glad Col. Pussy Galore found work after the James Bond films...

Looking good, Old Wise One!
