The PZL 230 Skorpion
The Polish SABA.
A mock up was built of this little baby, but the project whent no further. (little he says!...its the same size as a skyhawk)

This was a very nice resin kit that Thorvic won on Ebay from a trader in Poland. Geoff then sold it to me when he decided it no longer fitted his area of interest.
It is a basic kit ideal for a first time resin build. and it needed very little filler. Alas you get no detail inside the engine bays or any under carrage bays..after all its a model of a mock up.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

That's really cool Martin! I like how the bright intake warnings look on that lovely bluish-gray grey. The stubby fuselage and canards add to the whiff factor!

Your Skorpion is a real looker!

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Wuss - He's as bad as a ten yr old, told him to put blanking plates in for the engines and sort out the the wheel bays , but no he just had to build it as soon as he got it -  :banghead:

Nah seriously its a nice build, especially as i know what the kit was like.

BTW for those interested the manufactures was Aqura of Poland who appear to be an ebay trader on east european especially Polish subjects. The Skorpion appears on ebay from time to time but can be a popular item and subject to demanding bids.

I did that more than once as a kid, on my way back from my monthly trip to the local Taylor & Mecennas (aka Beatties in a later life)
